Welcome to Byron's restaurant. Our focus is to celebrate British ingredients and its producers who dive, harvest, hunt, nurture and gather them.
Our menu changes to reflect the seasons in Britain and the dishes emphasise the quality of what our Island can offer and that they can stand proudly next to the rest of the world.
Lord Byron, who married the former owners daughter; Annabella Milbanke at Seaham Hall in 1815, has lent his name to our super-stylish new lounge bar. His portrait hangs on the wall of Byron's and the elaborate costume he wears has inspired the rich purple and gold colour scheme.
A specially commissioned pewter-topped oak bar , glittering 14 carat gold-plated chandeliers, beautiful oak wood floors, fabulous Georgian windows with views to the Vortex and black granite table tops complete the opulent, ambience.
Three Courses £45 per person, Wine Flights are an additional £20 per person
