A letter from the Managing Director
Dear Friends of Seaham Hall,
We hope that you have managed to stay safe and well during this extremely testing period.
There is no doubt that, over the last three months, the world has changed; as we all adapt to the new “norm”, Seaham Hall has been working behind the scenes in preparation for this new approach to life.
As you’re aware, Seaham Hall closed on Saturday 21st March in line with the Government directive, to ensure the safety of our guests, our suppliers and our team.
During the lockdown period, we supported the NHS in as many ways as possible, including many donations of household essentials. Our kitchen team also volunteered to help, cooking thousands of meals for the NHS frontline workers in our local region – a hugely satisfying effort all round.
For friends of Seaham Hall, we launched our Virtual Wellbeing Programme, which we hope has allowed you to enjoy some of the ‘Seaham Hall experience’ at home. We have also had some wonderful engagement with our #seahamstories social media campaign, which has allowed everyone to share memories of all of those special occasions at the hotel and spa over the past months and years.
Following the latest government announcement on 23rd June 2020. We are delighted to confirm the re-opening of Seaham Hall on 7th July 2020.
The Seaham Hall team is hugely excited to welcome you from Tuesday 7th July, we are pleased to announce that our reservations system is now open and ready to take your bookings for overnight stays, short breaks, afternoon teas, and dinners.
On behalf of the team at Seaham Hall, I would like to thank you for all the messages of support and for your patience during this challenging time. We are looking forward very much to welcoming you back to Seaham Hall in the very near future.
