A letter from the Managing Director
I am so delighted to be writing this with the doors now reopened at Seaham Hall. Since we were given the official news that we could reopen, the team have put the final touches in place to ensure that we provide a safe and secure environment to welcome you back with true Northern hospitality.
Whilst we have not been able to reopen the Serenity Spa just yet, we have opened up the 37 acres of grounds and added relaxation areas for you to enjoy that coastal air whilst soaking up the views. You’ll also be able to make the most of the wildlife we have on our doorstep (a few deer have even been spotted in the grounds).
Damian and his kitchen team are preparing fresh and seasonal dishes with the menu changing daily. So you can sit back and relax with no more dish washing, clearing the table, or looking in the fridge and deciding what to cook - just leave that all to us.
Within the hotel, we have opened up new spaces including the courtyard where you can chill out under the warmth of the glass. You can read, nod off or catch-up with friends and family that you haven’t been able to see for a few weeks.
For those craving exercise, we have set up an outside work area. And if you are needing some motivation, don’t worry. Amanda, our Spa Manager, is available to help with a wellbeing program or arrange for Phil, our gym instructor, to give you a one-to-one session.
The rest of the team and I are really looking forward to seeing you over the next few weeks and we can assure you of the very best in hospitality.
See you soon.
