At Byron’s we only use small, local but proudly passionate suppliers. Our menu often changes (sometimes twice in a service!) as we only cook ingredients that is brimming with flavour and quality.
Our food is created using simple presentation and modern techniques infused with the traditional and long forgotten, such as fermenting, foraging and curing. Culinary fun that creates a unique dish and experience for each and every guest.

Along with his team, Head Chef Damian Broom has been cooking up a storm with his unique style and wholesome ethos. Joining Byron’s Restaurant from his previous role at The Coppa Club, London, Damian’s energy has allowed us to achieve a place in The Good Food Guide 2018, a second AA rosette and has reinforced Byron’s as the destination for North East diners to explore contemporary British cuisine.
