Feeling a little bit extra energetic? Why not take to the ice rink and show off your best ice skating skills! Priced at adult £5, child £4 for a 20 minute session, this Edwardian inspired ice rink is the ultimate Christmas experience.

Experience the classics… See ‘The Snowman’ and ‘The Nutcracker’ like you’ve never seen them before! Watch these enchanting animations on Durham Cathedral’s big screen, accompanied by a live orchestra.

The Bowes Museum: Christmas Market – 15th December
Timings: 15th December- 3.00pm – 8.00pm | 16th & 17th December- 10.00am – 6.00pm
A traditional and annual Christmas Market held in the Museum grounds, enjoy offerings from over 100 local, hand-picked stallholders, live music, seasonal entertainment, prize draws and the popular park & ride ‘Santa’ buses all with a generous hearty sprinkle of festive sparkle. Durham City Centre: Christmas Shopping with a Difference
