Steeped in history and heritage we offer a home away from home experience for all to adore.  Seaham Hall boosts twenty one individually styled suites set in thirty seven acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and is home to the five luxury bubble Serenity Spa.

The Serenity Spa offers the very best in immersive facilities and wellness treatments designed to balance and restore the senses. With two onside dining locations guests can choose from The Dining Room with dishes inspired by the rugged North Sea and Durham countryside or The Ozone restaurant nestled in the vibrant Serenity Spa drawing on Pan-Asian influences.

Ross

Managing Director

Joining the business in 2013, Ross was initially the MD of our 5-star award winning hotel Seaham Hall and was tasked with re-establishing the hotel following a number of years of neglect from prior ownership. Following this Ross became heavily involved in the development of Luxury Lodges, our rental arm of the business. Through the support and investment of the founders, Ross has continued to develop all of the resorts and bringing them up to hotel quality resorts with his 25 years of experience. Luxury Lodges offers a unique opportunity to develop in a fascinating industry which allows individuals to progress in their chosen careers. Throughout the business there are numerous examples of team members that have worked their way up the business and at the core of our ethos it to develop and promote within.

Nathan

General Manager

Nathan joined Seaham Hall as General Manager in 2017 and continues to be push both Seaham Hall and team to deliver unrivalled guest experiences.  Nathan brings a wealth of experience nationally and globally with 15 years of expertise in the hospitality business both in the UK and Australia.  Nathan’s blend of natural leadership skills and knowledge of 5-star standards across a range of establishments, including some of the United Kingdom’s best independent hotels pitches him as at the very top level of General Management.

Steve

Financial Controller

Having left school initially Steve worked as an engineer for British Rail before finding his passion for finance and figures!  Following completion of his Financial Services Degree Steve has worked in the world of hospitality ever since.  Steve’s dynamic approach has allowed him to apply his expertise in a range of hospitality settings, including some of the Country’s leading health and fitness brands, to occupational health care establishments and now Seaham Hall and the wider business of Luxury Lodges.

Caroline

Assistant Financial Controller

We call her the ‘Seaham Hall Guru.’ Caroline has gained a wealth of experience in her 20 years of service and when in doubt she is the person we call on. She leaves no stone unturned and is always in the right place at the right time. The support Caroline provides comes in many forms, both professional and emotional, which has supported her continuous progression. Her knowledge, positivity and creativity is hard to find and we are lucky to have such a talented lady on our Team.

Amanda

Spa Manager

Amanda holds 8 years of experience covering a vast range of operational roles throughout her time at Seaham Hall.  Having risen through the hospitality ranks from Spa Receptionist to her current position as Spa Manager, Amanda oozes a customer centric personality.   Her adaptability allows her to motivate and empower individuals to reach new heights and inspire the best possible outcome.   Passion for people, demonstrating strong creative intelligence, her mission is to inspire positive change to elevate guest experience through the promotion of wellness.

Keith

Facilities Manager

Keith was a site manager on various projects in the North East of England before joining the Seaham Hall team as the Maintenance Manager in 2012. Being a keen learner and wanting to develop and broaden his career, he studied a diploma in ‘Management Leadership in the built environment’ and holds various Health & Safety qualifications such as his ‘NEBOSH’ certificate which supports our entire H&S strategy. Keith was promoted to Facilities Manager and now plays a huge part in how our resorts are ran on a day-to-day basis; two of his main goals are to improve our carbon footprint and of course, saving money. He also still gets his hands dirty with various maintenance jobs whilst supporting the teams across the UK.

Shaun

Front of House Manager

Shaun’s career in Hospitality started we he embarked upon a degree in Hospitality Management.  Shaun landed the perfect work placement, working hand in hand with his hospitality passion at Luton Hoo Hotel Golf and Spa.  Firmly finding his feet concerned with everything Front of House Shaun has a genuine warmth and sense of spirit that guests and team really invest in.  Shaun knew from his own personal experience that 5-star properties are his art and his experience across statement properties in the UK have allowed him to continue to evolve.

Tracey

Head Housekeeper

High standards and quality control are Tracey’s forte. Her eye for detail and relentless work ethic help set Seaham Hall above the rest.  Under Tracey’s guidance, her team is the reason for our incredible cleanliness reputation, that never goes unnoticed by our team members or guests. Her integrity is key to her success and her drive and determination has allowed her development across the wider company.

Damian

Head Chef

Damian’s first memory of his fascination for food began with Granny and Grandad on their working farm.  Fast forward 30 years and his flavour creations draw on those fond memories from Granny’s tablet fudge to his household staple venison stew.   His passion for food and produce is stronger than ever!  Throughout Damian’s career his ethos has always been to source and use the very best quality of regional, seasonal food even before this was seen as the most interesting and ethical practice for aspiring Chef’s.  Creativity is key to Damian’s success and he quote’s, ‘There is nothing more exciting to me than when the first of a new season’s produce is ready!  This sparks my thoughts, and enthuses me to produce new creations allowing ingredients to “sing”, putting power to all of my plates.’
