Afternoon tea

Time for tea
Some things in life were made to be savoured, and afternoon tea is definitely one of them. And where better to enjoy this British classic than at our contemporary Georgian country house?

Dietary requirements
If anyone within your party has dietary requirements, no matter how small, please do call ahead and give at least 24 hours' notice so our team can accommodate. In the event that we do not know ahead of the day, we may not be able to cater for them. We are unable to offer a nut-free afternoon tea.

Booking information
Booking is essential. A £10 per person deposit is required to secure your table at the time of booking, this can be paid over the phone with a credit or debit card. Unfortunately without a deposit, we are unable to take your reservation. If you make a reservation online, one of our team will be in touch regarding the deposit. Should you have a gift voucher as your payment, we will require the code and this will be used to guarantee your booking.
All afternoon reservations are subject to a 48-hour cancellation policy. Should you need to amend or cancel your booking 48 hours prior to your reservation, no charges apply and your deposit will be kept as credit for a future booking.
However, should you need to amend or cancel within 48 hours of your arrival, your deposit will be forfeited.
If you are paying with a gift voucher, your voucher will then be redeemed and cannot be used at a later date. All cancellation requests must be sent to hotel@seaham-hall.com, quoting the date of your reservation and your name. Once your request has been received, it will be confirmed by our team via email.
A frightfully British ritual
Take your pick from a bitesize selection of our chef's take on the best of British sweet and savoury treats, all accompanied by your choice of loose leaf tea, artisan coffee, or even a glass of fizz if you fancy.
Please note: we cannot guarantee that our afternoon tea has not come into contact with nuts.
