Our two night Christmas escape to the coast includes a wonderful five course tasting menu in The Dining Room on Christmas Eve, the all-important festive lunch with trimmings and breakfast. Explore the grounds or the search for the infamous seaglass on the Durham heritage coast just, a stone’s throw away from the hotel.

As part of your stay, you will enjoy:

  • A five course set Tasting menu on Christmas Eve in The Dining Room between 6.30pm and 8.30pm.
  • On Christmas Day enjoy a glass of pre-lunch Champagne, followed by a four course Christmas lunch served in The Dining Room.
  • A charcuterie board to share with a glass of port on Christmas night.
  • Breakfast each morning – this will be served as room service on Christmas Day

    If a time is not specified for dinner on Christmas Eve or lunch on Christmas Day, our team will allocate a time for you and send a confirmation. If you wish to amend times please do call as soon as possible and we can check availability.

    Please note the Tasting menu is a set five course menu. Dietary requirements can be accommodated with at least 24 hours’ notice.

    A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your reservation with the balance paid by 1st December 2023. After 1st December the booking is non-refundable and non-transferable.
