We’re giving you an exclusive look into the life of a Seaham Hall Therapist. Our recent Therapist of the Month, Georgia Stansfield, has answered some questions to give you an insight into the world of a Therapist!
Why did you decide to become a therapist?
I became a therapist because I always wanted a career where I can help people and make them feel better about themselves.
What does a day in the life look like as a Seaham Hall therapist?
Every day is different, and you meet people from all walks of life who you wouldn’t usually meet and you work with people who share the same passion as you. As well as performing a variety of different treatments, I also help on check-in to meet and greet the guests so interacting with people is a daily part of the job.
What is your favourite thing about being a therapist?
My favourite thing about being a therapist is when people forget about their problems, just 1-hour treatment can make them forget about the outside world and focus on their own wellbeing.
What treatment do you enjoy giving the most?
My favourite treatment is the Temple Spa drift away massage as it promotes the ultimate relaxation for guests. You often find they will literally drift away to sleep on the bed.
What is your favourite treatment to receive?
I personally love a facial which includes a scalp massage. The Ishga 60 min facial is the perfect way to boost radiance on the outside and help feel tranquil on the inside.
Your top beauty tip…
Always make sure to remove your makeup before you go to sleep!
Advice for picking a treatment…
Focus on how you feel on the day and what you want to feel like after your treatment… talk to your therapist in the consultation about any areas of concern to get the most from your treatment.
