It’s no secret that we love what we do here at Seaham Hall, customer service is at the forefront at everything we do which is why we want you ‘Think Pink, Think Butler! And meet your poolside team! We want to put them in the limelight for the outstanding service they provide! Service so good we’re even up for an award for it!
We sat down with Amy who has worked with us for some time, to get to grips with her day -to-day job and what drives her to make the Seaham Hall Spa experience the best she can for our spa goers and members.
A modest, truthful reply of “I love seeing our customers happy and meeting new people”, when we asked her favourite part of her job role, “Seeing the customers enjoying themselves, having a great time is such a great part of the job, knowing that we’ve contributed to that experience is so rewarding for us as a team”, Amy describes her job as demanding, rewarding and enjoyable. Although three completely different adjectives, each compliments the other. “As in any job role you have demanding days, but again, it’s so worthwhile when we know we’ve done a great job for our customers, making guests feel great from the moment they walk through the door to until they leave”.
Being a Spa Butler, day to day duties vary and are overall are very busy, Amy is very hands on within the spa, ensuring everything is running smoothly poolside, from cleanliness to well being of the spa goers replenishing drinks so our members stay hydrated and glowing!
Amy’s favourite spa facility is our pool, simply because she loves to swim and the new Zen Garden, because of its peacefulness and tranquility, which is free to use in any spa package, the perfect place for a Mum of one, with another baby on the way to relax! She says it’s the best thing that’s happened to her and she can’t wait to welcome her new daughter into the world next February. She loves the idea of being able to find a relaxing place she can access outside of work, that enables her to fully wind down and take a step back from the hustle and bustle of every day life as a working mum!
