Classic movie nights
10th July, 28th August, 25th September
Our outdoor cinema nights went down a treat last year, so we’ve of course added them to our summer events programme for 2022 with three dates in the diary. We’ll be screening feel-good family favourite musicals, with The Greatest Showman, Dirty Dancing and Mamma Mia! set to take over the big screen in our gorgeous grounds. Head to the terrace for epic cinema snacks, plenty of fizz and cosy blankets.
Tickets: £30 per person (includes a posh dog, popcorn and a glass of fizz)
A celebration of Far East flavours
4th September, 2pm
Join us for a festival of flavours as we transport you to the streets of Thailand, Japan and beyond from our outdoor terrace. Sample some of the finest cuisines from the Far East, freshly prepared by our Ozone chefs. We’ve long loved (and celebrated) Asian food at Seaham Hall, but this summer we’re cranking things up a notch with our very own street food festival, complete with live DJ set from Radio One’s Matt Bailey.
Afternoon tea, al fresco style
14th August
How do you take your tea? We’ll have ours out on the terrace, please. Soak up the summer sun under our pergola with Tea on the Terrace. All of your favourite bitesize British treats, served al fresco with a glass of fizz or Pimm’s. A

The Queen’s Baton Relay

The Queen’s Baton Relay is coming to Seaham this July. A longstanding tradition, this event celebrates and connects communities from across the Commonwealth. The relay begin in Durham, visiting landmarks such as Durham Cathedral’s Palace Green. The convoy will then travel to Seaham, with the procession starting at North Terrace, heading past the Tommy statue at Terrace Green before ending at Vane Tempest Car Park, giving locals the chance to follow the baton across their home town.
