Classes Description

  • Dancercise

    A sequence of steps repeated over a number of tracks that will help you with cardiovascular training, coordination and balance, leading to great results with a fun atmosphere

  • Tap

    All abilities welcome to this fun class where we will be making fun sounds and grooving to new music and new routines every week

  • Ballroom

    We will be exploring all of the strictly genres with this fun and interactive class. Get fit and have fun with this all over fitness class

  • Kettlebells

    Learn the various techniques of the kettlebell to discover a whole new style of fitness and strength. Using the kettlebell in many different ways to build core fitness, strength and endurance within a set routine to blast the body.

  • Circuit Training

    A series of exercises that are completed one after the other at designated stations with a specific rest interval in between forming a circuit. Each exercise is performed for a specific time set or repetitions and repeated throughout.

  • Functional training

    This is a class is based on kettlebells, body weight and cardio, by doing these functional movements this will lead to a full body work out

  • Abs/Core

    Put together to target the main function areas of your body i.e. Abs, hips, back. By selecting various exercises for that particular area will leave you feeling stronger, stretched and feeling the burn.

  • Running club

    With running club we will be running from seaham hall down the coast, over a certain distance, with this you will get a great cardio session and an amazing view at the same time

  • Thunder Fitness/ Thunder HIIT

    High intensity training designed to torch body fat and promote lean muscle  as well as change your body shape, with fast, effective results.

  • Aqua Yoga

    A harmonious and uplifting experience , harnessing an ancient discipline, like yoga and the healing and restorative  qualities of water. All levels are welcome. Particularly good for those with joint problems or recovering from injury.

  • Pilates

    Pilates is a system of exercise developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 1900s. It is a highly sophisticated approach to training the body that seeks to develop core strength and stability (rather than muscular bulk) in order to allow the body to move in the most efficient way possible

  • Yoga

    Yoga is the physical, mental, and spiritual practice that aims to transform body and mind. While incorporating breathing, stretches and posture correction. Through out the session we will cover Sun salutations standing and sitting postures including forward bends, twists and ending with relaxation

  • Barre

    This low impact, total body workout lifts the butt, tones the thighs, flattens the abs and sculpts the arms, whilst protecting the joints. Small isometric contractions are performed and integrated with an interval training approach that burns fat and improves cardiovascular fitness.

  • Body Stretch

    A class designed to relax and focus on the body. Stretching out without any strenuous exercise and target those tight muscles which will leave you fresh, relaxed and ready to tackle the day ahead.

  • Meditation

    Meditation benefits both mind and body, lowering stress guiding you to hear the gentle wisdom within. The meditation techniques and tools that are used are varied so there is something for everyone

  • Seaham cycle

    Spinning and indoor cycling is a great way to keep fit and really test your fitness. Whether you are a beginner or a specialist, this workout will get you working hard as we fluctuate between resistance and speed as we look to build strength and endurance.

  • Seaham Pump

    Performed to music using free weights, barbells and aerobic steps. Choose your weights based on the exercises planned, which may include deadlift and squats, as we aim to build muscle endurance and strength.

  • Step and Tone / Power

    A set routine aimed at the lower body using aerobic steps. Performing exercises ranging from side steps to squats with the option to make it more intense with our power sessions.

  • Train Insane

    A 30 minute high intensity circuit based class designed to work the whole body using different pieces of functional equipment. From battle ropes to slam balls  you’ll  burn calories in a fast, fun and efficient way!
